Presentation: Correlations between pressure-induced structural and electronic/magnetic transitions in transition-metal compounds
Eran Greenberg completed his B.Sc. in physics and astronomy and M.Sc. in condensed matter physics at Tel-Aviv University. He then received a short term Marie Curie fellowship to conduct research at the Bayerisches Geoinstitut. Upon completion of the fellowship he returned to Tel-Aviv University and completed a PhD in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics, focusing his studies on pressure-induced electronic and magnetic transitions in iron bearing oxides and the relation to structural phase transitions. After completing his PhD, Eran started his postdoctoral studies at GSECARS at the University of Chicago, where his current research is focused on physical properties of matter at high-pressure and high-temperature conditions.
